TACOMA, WA – Emerald Queen Casino has named Chris Casella General Manager of Slahal Steakhouse, bringing more than two decades of hospitality experience to the role. Casella will oversee restaurant operations at the steakhouse, located on the 11th floor of Emerald Queen Casino & Hotel Tacoma.
Slahal Steakhouse offers hand-cut steaks, seafood, cocktails and a wine program, along with views of Tacoma, Commencement Bay, Mount Tahoma and the Olympic Mountains. The restaurant also hosts Sunday Skyline Brunch.

Casella’s career includes experience in fine dining, multi-unit operations and new restaurant openings, with a focus on team development, collaboration and restaurant operations.
