KINDER, LA – Coushatta Casino Resort has announced Victor Gonzalez as its new Director of Food & Beverage. Gonzalez brings to Coushatta over 30 years of management expertise, with 21 years in gaming resort properties.
Gonzalez comes to Coushatta most recently from Sandia Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, NM as its Director of Food & Beverage, and prior to that, at Casino Del Sol in Tucson, AZ as Executive Director of Food & Beverage. He has extensive experience in the Gulf South market, having served in management capacities at Casino Rouge in Baton Rouge, LA, Silver Star Hotel & Casino/Pearl River Resorts in Choctaw, MS, and three Louisiana-based enterprises including: Audubon Institute in New Orleans, LA; Martin Wine Cellar in Metairie, LA; and Aramark Corporation in New Orleans, LA. Gonzalez is an alumnus of Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, VA.
As Coushatta Casino’s Director of Food & Beverage, Gonzalez will oversee all aspects of the resort’s eight restaurants, beverage, banquets, catering and retail operations, and will lead the casino’s culinary team to create and refine new menus and services.
