COARSEGOLD, CA – Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino will host the grand opening of its highly anticipated Topgolf Swing Suite – the region’s first – on Wednesday, June 25. Doors open to the public at 4:45pm, immediately following a 4:00pm ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring former Oakland A’s slugger Jose Canseco and former San Jose Sharks star Jonathan Cheechoo.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will include a welcome announcement by Tribal Chairwoman Tracey Hopkins and a blessing by Vice Chairman Michael Wynn, who will be joined by the athletes and members of the Picayune Rancheria of Chukchansi Indians Tribal Council. Immediately after, fans will have the opportunity to meet Canseco and Cheechoo during an autograph signing in the Picayune Tower lobby.
The Topgolf Swing Suite at Chukchansi Gold features two high-tech simulators where guests can play Topgolf’s signature target-style games, as well as immersive virtual experiences like PGA Tour Golden Tee Live, football, baseball, hockey, and even zombie dodgeball. Guests can also tee off on legendary golf courses such as Pebble Beach and St. Andrews, within a high-definition, responsive environment.
Each simulator accommodates up to eight players and is suitable for a range of small group activities, such as social gatherings or work-related events. Gameplay takes place in one of two private lounges — the Oak Room or the Ember Room — each reserved for a single group at a time. A nearby lounge area offers a place to relax between rounds.
“Bringing bold, new experiences to our guests is what we do best, and the Topgolf Swing Suite is one of our most exciting additions yet,” said Deann Kamalani, Director of Marketing at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino. “It’s a completely new kind of experience for our resort, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to kick it off with two iconic athletes. Whether you’re swinging for the leaderboard or just stopping by for fun, this space is all about energy, connection and unforgettable moments.”
Chukchansi’s Topgolf Swing Suite is located adjacent to the Picayune Tower lobby and open to guests 21 and older. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday from 11:00am to 10:00pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11:00am to midnight.
