C2G Charity Golf Tournament Raises $123,000 for Local Youth

2025 C2G Golf Charity Check

MAYETTA, KS – The Class 2 Gathering (C2G) conference began with its inaugural charity golf tournament at Firekeeper Golf Course, a par-72 championship golf course located at Prairie Band Casino & Resort. The event brought together 144 golfers for a day of competition and charitable giving.

The highlight of the tournament came during the C2G launch party, where a donation check of $123,000 was presented to the Boys & Girls Club of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. The donation will support vital programs and services to assist in the development and enhancement of the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical well-being of all young people in the surrounding area by providing a safe, positive place to learn and grow.

“The success of this year’s charity golf tournament reflects the incredible generosity and community spirit of everyone involved,” said John Sexsmith, Board Member of the Boys & Girls Club. “From our sponsors and volunteers to each golfer who joined us on the greens, their support helped drive meaningful impact far beyond the course.”
