TUOLUMNE, CA – The Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians and its Tuolumne Economic Development Authority (TEDA) recently opened Elevate, an all-new family fun center adjacent to Black Oak Casino Resort.

Elevate is a 20,000 sq. ft. facility dedicated to family fun for all ages. The facility features active indoor attractions such as trampoline jumping, a junior jump zone, axe throwing stations, and golf/multisport simulators. Elevate also offers dodgeball, battle beam, and a ninja warrior course.

Elevate was created to benefit the local community, with a focus on children, youth, and teenagers. Ignacio Finlay, General Manager of Elevate who coaches youth soccer and is active with Sierra United Soccer Club of Sonora, said he joined the Elevate project to provide the community with more activities for young people. “Building something like this, it’s something that benefits everybody,” said Finlay.

The tribe is happy and proud of what they’ve done.”

According to Tinkle, the Elevate project was completed in just 10 months. TEDA already has plans to upgrade Elevate attractions to keep the facility fresh. Discussions are underway for a phase two development stage that would add more attractions for visitors ages 18 and up.

Elevate is open Wednesday through Friday from 2:00pm to 9:00pm, and Saturday/Sunday from 11:00am to 9:00pm. Patrons can pre-purchase passes and book jumping sessions online in order to bypass lines. Discounted package passes, memberships, tournaments, and party packages are available.
