LAWTON, OK – The Fort Sill Apache Economic Development Authority (EDA) is opening The Vault, a new cigar and liquor lounge at Apache Casino Hotel offering Player’s Club members premium cigars, spirits, private cigar lockers and specialty services.
A grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Thursday, Oct. 8 at 2 p.m. at The Vault, located on the second level of Apache Casino Hotel. Guests must be 21 or older to enter. The Vault will begin regular daily operations Friday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
“The Vault is about creating something special for our players; an experience that feels exclusive, sophisticated and unlike anything else we offer,” said Rjay Brunkow, Chief Executive Officer of the Fort Sill Apache Tribe Economic Development Authority. “We transformed a space that was not being fully utilized, into a premium cigar and liquor lounge where our players can relax, enjoy a great cigar and a carefully selected pour, watch sports programming, and receive personalized service.”
Access is available to Apache Casino Hotel Player’s Club card members, with cards available at no charge. The Vault also offers a limited number of tiered premium club memberships, with benefits including advance reservations, a personalized highball glass etched with the member’s name, discounts and access to private events.
The lounge features 45 private cigar lockers available for six-month and one-year leases for cigars purchased at The Vault. Cigars range from flavored and approachable options to premium selections, priced from approximately $10 to $80. Staff can prepare cigars with a straight cut, V-cut or punch cut, followed by toasting and lighting. The spirits selection includes premium bourbon, scotch, tequila and cognac.
The Vault has a dedicated ventilation system for cigar smoking; cigarette smoking and vaping are not permitted. The lounge also features televised sports and other programming and can accommodate private bookings, business meetings, gatherings and special events.
“We wanted to create a place where our players could meet friends, conduct a business meeting or simply sit back with a premium cigar and a pour of their favorite spirit,” said Brunkow. “It is a space designed for conversation, connection and enjoying the finer things.”
Future programming will include cigar-rolling demonstrations, cigar and spirit pairings, special tastings and other cigar-focused events. The Vault was developed from Brunkow’s proposal to transform the property’s former VIP room into a cigar lounge, a concept approved by the Fort Sill Apache Tribal Board and Business Committee.
