EAGLE PASS, TX – Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel and the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas broke ground on a new hotel tower expansion, marking the property’s 30th year of operation.
The project will bring the property’s total hotel inventory to 252 rooms, including 80 suites. The expansion also includes a full renovation of the existing hotel lobby, a new resort-style pool, a 60-seat restaurant and bar, and a new courtyard connecting the hotel tower and casino floor.
Over its 30 years of operation, the property has grown into one of South Texas’s larger gaming and hospitality destinations, drawing guests from Texas, Mexico, and beyond. The new hotel accommodations are intended to meet ongoing demand and allow more guests to stay on the property.
The expansion also represents an investment in the Eagle Pass community and the surrounding region. As one of the area’s largest employers, Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel contributes to local economic activity by attracting visitors who support area businesses.
The project is part of the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas’s continued investment in the property, which has been supporting employment, tourism, and economic development in South Texas throughout its history.
