Shipping Requirements

Ads are due to our office by the materials deadline. We do not accept ads via email. All ads must be saved on CD. Please include a hi-resolution CMYK pdf (300 dpi) or original files with all linking documents and high resolution photos. Clearly mark the CD with company name and issue month, enclose a color match print and ship to:

Digital Formats

All pre-press processing of Indian Gaming is completed digitally. Our printer utilizes the latest printing techniques and direct-to-plate technology.

What File Formats Do We Accept?

Just about anything, but some have charges you can avoid. The following are some guidelines to follow when building ads:

1. PDF files. Send high resolution (300 dpi) PDFs only created with CMYK images. While design on websites utilizes RGB images, in the world of Litho, printing to paper requires hi-resolution (300 dpi) CMYK images. If you are having files distilled to high resolution PDF format, please convert all images to CMYK before distilling.
   
2. Original files, such as QuarkXpress, PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator or FreeHand, complete with all Type-1 printer and screen fonts, and all linking documents, like tiffs and eps files. Avoid stored images in PageMaker and embedded images in FreeHand. We are unable to accept ads built in Word or Excel files.
3. All photos and images must be high resolution PhotoShop EPS, tiff or jpg files (300 dpi at final image size).
4. Regarding TrueType fonts: The printer must substitute Type-1 fonts for all TT fonts. They charge for this service. You can avoid these charges by using Type-1 fonts or convert TT fonts to paths for use in Illustrator or FreeHand.
