Golf Course Overview
Located next to Grand Casino Hinckley in northern Minnesota, the Grand National Golf Club offers a superb championship layout and is the gateway to grand golf. Just 90 minutes north of Minneapolis, the course is graced by marshes, ponds and creeks creating a beautiful design and an ultimately challenging round of golf.
The 18-hole, par 72, championship course opened in 1995 and is spread out over 6,894 yards from the back tees. The fairways, greens and tees consist mainly of bentgrass; and the course offers 27 bunkers and 14 waterholes for an added challenge. Designed by golf course architect Joel Goldstrand, the course has a USGA slope of 137 and a USGA rating of 73.6. Four sets of tees are also available to accommodate all levels of ability.
The clubhouse at the Grand National Golf Club offers Guests a snack bar and practice facilities, including a driving range and putting green. A full pro shop is also available offering golf apparel and equipment as well as golf lessons. A wide array of promotional golfing packages is also available to Guests.
