Golf Course Overview
Oak Glen is a par 72 with mature, landscaped surroundings, undulating greens and challenging fairways. In addition to the Sweetwater River, which runs throughout the course, there are numerous small ponds to create exciting play. Oak Glen originally opened in 1956 and was redesigned by Ted Robinson in 1980. The latest redesign, undertaken by Dave Fleming, was completed in 1990. The course measures 6,489 yards from the back tees with a USGA slope of 71.1 and a USGA rating of 128. Three sets of tees are available for all levels of play. From the front tees the course measures 5,549 yards, has a slope of 71.4 and a rating of 124.
The Sycuan Resort and Casino, located in El Cajon, California, offers guests two championship golf courses that are consistently rated among the best public courses in San Diego County, and a challenging par 3 course.
