Two hours north of Seattle and one hour south of Vancouver, BC, Semiahmoo has a reputation as a top full-service destination resort with a tradition of great golf. Rated among the Top 100 Places to Play by Golf Digest in 2003, Semiahmoo and Loomis Trail offer premier back-to-back golf experiences within minutes of each other.
Designed by golf legend, Arnold Palmer, the Semiahmoo course features generous, rolling fairways with fast greens. Palmers design has a reputation for its immaculately manicured fairways bordered by stands of fir and cedar trees, contoured greens and white sand bunkers. Since its opening in 1987, Semiahmoo has consistently ranked among the top resort courses in the region. The course measures 7,005 yards from the back tees, with a USGA slope of 137 and a USGA rating of 73.9. Four sets of tees are available, as well, for all levels of play. From the front tees the course measures 6,003 yards with a slope of 123 and a rating of 69.2.
Sitting on a 1,100-acre natural wildlife preserve, Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club also includes the impressive Palmer Room and the Clubhouse Pavilion. The Palmer room offers a classy, private setting for a post-golf event or formal dinner. The Clubhouse Pavilion is surrounded by towering cedar trees and overlooks the course, ponds and fountains.
Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club is open to the public on the odd days of the month. Loomis Trail Golf Club is open to the public on the even days of the month.
