Golf Course Overview
Located near Grand Casino Coushatta, the Koasati Pines Golf Resort offers guests a golfing experience unlike any other. Set in the natural wetlands of southern Louisiana and beset by stately pines and huge live oaks, this year-round course allows golfers to concentrate on their game while relaxing in the luxury of the Coushatta Casino Resort. Designed by renowned golf course architect Kevin Tucker, the course was intended to submerge players in a relaxing yet challenging golf experience. The 18-hole course is well bunkered and well manicured with undulating greens and breathtaking waterways, offering guests aesthetically pleasing surroundings as well as a demanding round of play. The par 72, championship course measures 7,617 yards from the championship tees, has a USGA slope of 137 and a USGA rating of 76.7.
Six sets of tees are available to meet the needs of players of all skill levels, measuring 5,154 yards from the front tees with a slope of 113 and rating of 69.7. The course design also features over 50 acres of looking glass lakes to further enhance the luxurious landscape.
Koasati Pines also has a 12-acre practice facility with a dedicated teaching area so golfers can practice chipping and putting before testing their skills on the course. The 9,000 sq. ft. clubhouse houses men's and women's locker rooms, complete with shower facilities, as well as a golf pro shop with golfing apparel, equipment and club rentals. The Eagle Bar and Grill serves sandwiches, salads, beverages and light snacks with comfortable club seating.
