Golf Course Overview
Just a few miles from Mohican North Star Casino and Bingo lies the Pine Hills Golf and Supper Club, touted as one of Wisconsin's best-kept secrets. Winding through a mature woodland of coniferous and hardwood varieties, with sand bunkers and water coming into play on several holes, the course offers golfers breathtaking scenery as well as a demanding round of golf. The Pine Hills Golf and Supper Club has one of the most challenging courses in the state. It was voted most improved course, most improved customer service and facilities, as well as earning the business of the year award for the 2004 season from the Wisconsin Indian Chamber of Commerce.
The 18-hole, par 72 course has a layout providing numerous changes in elevation, requiring golfers to maintain reasonable shot-making ability. The course has bentgrass greens, bluegrass fairways and bluegrass/fescue tees with all of the greens, tees and fairways serviced by a 100% irrigation system. Measuring 6,227 yards from the back tees, the course has a USGA slope of 126 and a USGA rating of 70.2. Four sets of tees Sare available, as well, to challenge all levels of play. The course measures 4,710 yards from the back tees, with a USGA slope of 113 and USGA rating of 67.7.
The clubhouse at Pine Hills Golf and Supper Club was constructed of natural materials to blend with the surrounding landscape. The main level features a bar area capable of seating 40 patrons and a dining area capable of seating 80. A bar is also available on the lower level as well as a conference and entertainment area that can host up to 125 people. Additionally, there is an annex to the clubhouse featuring a log style a-frame design and impressive view of the course. The building is self-contained, offering full bar and catering facilities. This annex can be used for almost any variety of entertaining and hosts groups of up to 350 people.
