The Southern California Training Committee is pleased to announce its 4th Annual Symposium. The Southern California Surveillance Symposium will be held at Barona Resort & Casino in San Diego, California on October 16th & 17th. The Symposium is a free training program to Tribal Regulators and is 100% sponsor based. This year we are presenting a comprehensive Symposium on surveillance responsibilities related to gambling venues, with an emphasis on Tribal gaming properties. This Symposium is designed to provide information on a variety of topics, issues, technology, and areas of concern that casino surveillance department personnel are confronted with on a daily basis.
The Symposium topics will include: Active Shooter-Critical Incidents; Back of House Scams; Surveillance Processes Cryptology (reading body language); Panel Discussion on Ideal Surveillance Room; Current Trends in Casino Crime provided by the Nevada Gaming Control Board; Casino Cheats and Scams; Panel Discussion on the Future of Surveillance; Southern California Cheats & Scams; Panel Discussion on Ask the Experts.
On October 16th there will be a night time mixer, with BBQ food and live entertainment, as well as an opportunity to network with attendees, hosts, facilitators, sponsors, vendors, and presenters.
