2012 Tribal Finance & Leadership Conference

Date: November 14 - 15, 2012

REDW LLC announced today that it will host its annual Tribal Finance & Leadership Conference on November 14th – 15th at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.

“As CPA’s with a national reputation for providing financial services to tribes and their enterprises for nearly three decades, REDW has committed to providing unique, quality and personally enriching educational training opportunities to the Tribal community,” said Chris Tyhurst, REDW Principal and Chair of the tribal conference.

The two-day conference offers two educational tracks: The Finance track, designed for tribal accounting and finance professionals, and the Leadership track, designed for tribal leaders and council members.  Each track offers a multitude of timely and relevant topics, providing invaluable insights relative to tribes, their enterprises and communities.

The speaker roster boasts an impressive line-up of industry leaders, including Richard Litsey, Counsel and Senior Advisor for Indian Affairs for the United Stated Senate; Derrick Watchman, Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise; Tal D. Moore, CAO of Fort Defiance Hospital and NNAHRA President, as well as several tribal accounting experts from REDW.  This year’s keynote motivational speaker is Jerry Bridge, the founder and president of LifeWorks Education who will be presenting, “Is Too Much Technology Making Us Stupid?”

This conference draws tribal leaders from across the United States and is tailored for participants interested in learning about the most current developments impacting Tribes and their enterprises and to network with like-minded individuals.
